JV Boys play Water Valley, Search for Pay Dirt

Overmatched but not outfought, the Veribest Falcons JV team faced Water Valley for the second straight week on Thursday night at Veribest. The Falcons squandered a number of scoring chances, and ended up losing 47-0. However, there were some bright spots. Dallas Martinez ran hard, amassing over 100 yards on the ground, and Edgar Ramirez and Emory Tucker turned in solid performances. The boys will travel to Rising Star next week in search of their first score and their first win. The game will be played after the junior high game which begins at 5:30.
