Junior High sweeps Olfen

Last Monday, the junior high Falcons travelled to Olfen, looking to continue their winning ways. Using a strong third quarter, the Lady Falcons outscored their opponent 9-0 on their way to a 2-12 victory. The win avenges the earlier one point loss at Olfen, and gives Veribest a 5-3 overall record. Winners of three straight games, the Lady Falcons will host the Maidens of Paint Rock Monday night. The Lady Falcons will look for the continued strong play of Missy G. and Jaden Sturm, along with Jessie Padilla, to push the win streak to four games.

The junior high Falcons never trailed in the contest Olfen, coasting to another double digit victory. Solid play was turned in by point guard Matt V., and Zack Book added an inside punch. The Falcons built a twenty point lead midway through the third quarter. Each layer contributed to the win, and Coach Nason is proud of the effort of the team. The Falcons are currently 8-0 on the year, with Paint Rock travelling to Veribest this evening.

Come out and support the Falcons! Game time is at 6:00 for the girls, and around 7:00 for the boys.
