At the district cross-country meet held in Eden on Monday, the Varsity Boys won their third consecutive district championship in dominating fashion. Paced by the 2nd place finish of Cris Broz and the 3rd place effort of Juan Santiago, the boys blew the field of competitors away, with a meet low of 15 points. Misael Romo finished in 8th place, while Cheyenne Black took 10th place honors. The team will now compete in regional competition in Arlington on November 8th.
Along with the varsity boys, freshman Crystal Benge will be making the trip to regionals. Crystal finished 7th overall, which qualified her for an individual spot in Arlington.
Congratulations to all of the young men and women who represented Veribest at the meet. We are proud of all of you!
